    Not allowed to post external link in Hubs any more??

    I'm trying to add a link to an article I wrote on another site with an explanation of PCOS, which is off-topic for the hub I'm writing.  I just want readers to have the option of accessing it without derailing the current article.

    I can usually link to other sites in my hubs, however when I try to do so in this current hub, the "insert" button refuses to respond.  I've check the FAQ's and am doing it correctly, so I'm confused as to why it isn't working ...  Are we no longer allowed to link to external sites?

    Maybe you are just experiencing a technical problem of sorts? You can post in the forums about this or ask HubPages about this problem by using the help wizard. Here's the link for that: http://hubpages.com/help-wizard/ .

    Also, according to the HubPages FAQ: http://hubpages.com/faq/#unrelated , your hub might be moderated if it contains links that aren't related to the hub. Maybe that has something to do with why you can't put a link to your hub? Have you tried to link to sites like Google or Wikipedia, just as a test to see if it works or not?

    I just tried adding external links to one of my as-of-yet unpublished hubs and it worked just fine. I tried with both the links capsule and the "insert link" button in the text capsule. I was able to add a link to both Google and Wikipedia. Hope this helped.

      Thanks so much.  Apparently, it's a problem with my browser (Safari).  I tried to insert links using Firefox and there was no problem.
