Why would HubPages delete this question?
How do you feel about your children attending online public school?
It's not inappropriate. I don't understand why they crossed it out and took it away.
They seem to be making a bigger distinction between questions and forums. It would have been preferable for them to make an announcement before starting this. Questions are for one-time answers, and forums are for more discussions. They must feel that this question will involve back and forth discussions instead of straight one-time answers.
What Millionaire Tips said.
If the question had been phrased, "What are the advantages of children attending online public school?" or something similar it would actually fit with the purpose of the Q/A section.
From Hubpages Help section:
"The Answers section of HubPages is intended to inspire high quality Hubs and give people the option to post short, helpful answers.
It is not intended for discussion, polls, topics un-related to creating a Hub, moderation issues, technical issues, or any other questions that require the response of HP staff."
I agree, this would be something to put on a discussion forum since it's not a technical how-to topic about writing hubs/making them better/using hubpages, etc

Why do some people ask a question then delete the answers they don't like?A number of times I've gone back to look at an answer I gave and the questioner has deleted it. Do they wish to embrace censorship or silence the opposition?

I apologize, but it seems a "Best" answer was chosen on my question when I did not choose it. I hope the HP Team can help me or someone can inform me why that happened! I noticed it via my phone and I knew that I did not choose an answer and I was not going to do so any time...

Why would HubPages "close" a question less than 24 hours after it was asked?I posted a fun question for people to answer. It was completely G rated, not offensive in any way, and I thought it would generate a lot of discussion. But, when I logged in today to see if anyone has answered the...
