Hub has 5 stars for view duration in stats but not featured due to...
lack of reader engagement? How is that possible? I notice this is the case on a couple of my religious (controversial) hubs. Is this just HPs way of trying to rid my atheist hubs?
I don't know where you see hubs on stars...as far as featured goes, if its a half-filled circle, usually its unfeatured due to lack of engagement, not traffic. Just make a couple quick minor edits, publish it and it should go featured again
In our stats section above our hubs we can see how good engagement is in stars. Mine is almost perfect. People spend a lot of time on these hubs so for them to say engagement is low has to be an error in one spot or another.
Interesting....Is there any way to add search tags to a hub?
Not any more. There use to be a way. Now you just have to incorporate them into the hub.
No the duration of views has nothing to do with not featured due to reader engagement. That not featured comes from not getting enough traffic to a hub, regardless of how long a reader stays on the hub. I have a couple that are the same way. Update or tweak them a bit to be more search friendly and they'll be featured again.
This all confuses me. These get more views than many of my featured hubs. I'm so tired of tweaking! I guess it's either that or delete though. Thanks.
peeples...If it makes you feel better..I spend a lot of time tweaking
1. Because it works and they're featured again..& 2. It's probably a good idea to shine them up now and then. Funny, but each time, I DO find something worth tweaking.
Also try adding polls or media things of that nature to help readers interact with you and get them commenting etc. that will also help with featured status.

I am so tired of trying to second guess the requirements. It seems that it takes 2-3 edits to go from UF engagement to Feature. Could someone please check out my recent edit which I edited again after getting the circle? I removed 1 of the 2 Zazzle links and another to a blog which may have been...

I have a hub that was moved here from Squidoo in September that I haven't touched at all. But, now it's unfeatured due to lack of engagement. I thought I had four months before stuff like that happened.

I've noticed recently that certain information is being removed from my stats. An example would be that my hub on atheism which was written about 20 months ago and which has the duration of time people spent on it a full five stars now saying that it hasn't been measured yet. That's not true. It used...

I just logged into my account and noticed that I have close to 30 hubs that are unfeatured due to engagement? Why did this happen all of a sudden? Is there anything I can do to make them featured again?

Can someone tell me?

I recently had a hub un-featured for engagement, as the half-circle indicates. I think this is an unfair practice and should be eliminated entirely. Here's why I feel this way:Our hub traffic is often affected by the time of year, holidays, seasons, and current events to name a few. If left alone,...
