Have other hubbers had the Hubpages Ad Program earnings' CPM dropping since the past few days?
As compared to last year they have dropped by almost 50%.
Do you also find a similar trend? Any ideas as what could be the reason and any remedial measures to get them back on track?
Thanks!
Honestly my friend I don't know what the CPM is....I do know my earnings have increased this month for whatever reason. I never have a clue what HP is doing.
If you don't have a clue, I feel in good company. My earnings are up a little.
Cost Per Impression. It determines how much you get paid for your traffic. If it's high, you get more money. And I don't know what HP is doing either!
Hnmm, I'm clueless too but my earnings aren't up, they're actually down. So what do you two know that I don't
What is CPM.? My earnings are at an all time low, as is my traffic. But from what I hear, I'm not alone.
You certainly are not alone vocalcoach, I'm right down there with you. I looke at my earnings and feel like I'm back at day one on HP!
i am earning 0.19 cent daily. i believe my CPM must be terribly low
That's it??? You currently have 113 hubs and that's all you make? I'd be packing up and moving elsewhere if I put that much effort in only to earn the equivalent of one cheap cheeseburger a week. LOL!
Yes it is down, earnings and traffic both, but i wonder whether it is on HP alone or at other places too?
I've noticed it is down, too, but I also remember it was pretty low last summer as well. I am hoping once the summer ends, the quality/value of ads will go back up and so will the traffic. The holidays are coming and that usually helps things around here. I hope it will bring us more earnings!
I am down $10 to $15 per month but as far as I can tell HP is just cleaning up and optimizing the site as a more credible information source. Too many people get on and write all kinds of crap (not leaving myself out) then drive traffic to their content and collect. HP is trying to be more of a search engine friendly site.

We added information to Section 9 covering the Affiliate IDs Program and its subcomponents. The newly named Affiliate IDs...

How Has HubPages Ad Program Worked Out For Hubbers?I have been doing a lot better with the HubPages Ad Program than Google AdSense. Perhaps because HubPages Ad Program doesn't require an ad to be clicked to earn anything. I think the HubPages Ad Program Earnings is more of a pay per ad...

The rate for the HubPages Ad Program CPMs are down about 50% over the past month, from around $6.00 on an average day in July to around $3.00 now. Is this a seasonal fluctuation or is it due to HubPages' recent traffic drop and advertisers paying lower rates? This certainly is not good...

On browsing the forum, I have become aware that we can't earn on HubPages without AdSense. This is a grim realization for me.I have 29 featured hubs that are generally considered to be of reasonable quality. I applied for an AdSense account over a year ago, and since then I've had nothing. When I...
