I am putting this out to our HubPages community

I asked one person and that person was not sure . I was following many writers here on HubPages (writers that I go back to time and time again). then we switched some time back to the new format/look of HubPages and now it says I am only following four. Please advise and thank you.

Wow!  No idea PS. I hadn't noticed that happening. Maybe it's just one more of the famous glitches in the HP system.

Hi PS, I had clicked on your profile a couple of weeks and noticed at that time, you were following 0 and I thought that you just did it that way to not get so many emails, but you can set your email setting to just let HP send you a notification email once a week or so to see those you do follow's work.  I did think it was so very strange that you were not following anyone, but I knew you came on my hubs and comment.  If it shows you are not following anyone, then you must not be getting notifications at all on any other hubber when the publish anything.  Remember "Follow" really mean unfollow, on the green button and "Unfollow" means you are following them.  It is confusing.  I get your notifications because I am following you.  Now, if you go to someone else's profile page and actually click on their following, you will of course see the avatars of all those that particular hubber is followering, but do not be confused as the green button in your case on their page will show "Follow" as you are not following that hubber (and it is not saying that person is not following, but you) so if you see that you would like to follow someone that other person is following, you can simply click form their following page and the green button will move to the left and then say "unfollow" which means you are actually following that person now.  That is where I had gotten confused, for I wanted to find new hubbers to follow, so I went to a hubber's page that I follow just to see who that person follows, and of course all of those I was not following showed "Follow" and I was thinking that that hubber was not following, but it is just giving you and opportunity to follow who they follow, but if you are already following someone they are following, the green button will say unfollow, so don't click it, unless you want to unfollow that hubber, and that may be what you have done, as it is a bit confusing, as all of those you are following should say unfollow on the green button.

I noticed that when I followed you.  I find a lot of Hubs through the ones you shared.  I too thought it was odd that you weren't following anyone! LOL

Did you put this in the tech forum so Matthew can check it out? That is very strange, especially if you didn't unfollow anyone.

Hello Mr.pstrabie48; You need go in your profile and clink  on following the hubs you like.  You need to participate in  the topics that hub pages offered you. And you need to stay active in the hub community  anwsers and other activities you see and like at hub pages.  Good luck dear. Keep in touch  with the rest of the writer. I like the picture of your question and the question too.
