Just curious - Did you nominate on of your own Hubs for Editor's Choice?

    Is this allowed?

I didn't even know you could until yesterday, Sally, but in all honesty I just don't care about editor's choice designations so why would I bother doing it?  I understand the reason why HP is doing it, but it does not interest me at all. smile

I am not sure why they are doing it - are they understaffed?
It is easy to feel kind of left out but I for one would not do it,   No-one has indicated with stats whether these Hubs are doing any better than the ones which have not been selected.

No. I didn't even know one could. But, I would not want to do this. If my peers would find one of my hubs an "editor's choice," i would be elated.

As of yesterday on your account page you will probably lead you to a link which invites you to choose a Hub of your choice.  I can't help thinking that this must be a monumental task for HubPages staff.   Where would on earth would one start?

I believe that they started on these with the higher scored hubs, that have stayed high. My highest scoring hub was designated but it isn't getting any more views.
My highest viewed hubs have not been designated and I would consider that those would be the ones to be preferred. They have already shown that they are liked. This is another move that isn't quite making it.

Not sure about that but unbelievably I just looked at my account, only to see that one of my hubs which has just received an Editors Choice.award.  Fancy that!

Congrats sallybea, I didn't notice a difference and I don't think you will either. I hope you do.

I didn't because all my hubs are poems, but I don't see why it wouldn't be allowed.  If you wrote a hub that fulfills the criteria, why shouldn't you nominate it?  There are plenty of people engaging in reciprocal nomination schemes, so what difference does it make if a person scratches her own back?

I was unaware of any reciprocal nomination schemes.  I probably spoke too early with the question though as I was unaware until last night that one of mine had been chosen.
