Just curious - Did you nominate on of your own Hubs for Editor's Choice?
Is this allowed?
I didn't even know you could until yesterday, Sally, but in all honesty I just don't care about editor's choice designations so why would I bother doing it? I understand the reason why HP is doing it, but it does not interest me at all.
No. I didn't even know one could. But, I would not want to do this. If my peers would find one of my hubs an "editor's choice," i would be elated.
I believe that they started on these with the higher scored hubs, that have stayed high. My highest scoring hub was designated but it isn't getting any more views.
My highest viewed hubs have not been designated and I would consider that those would be the ones to be preferred. They have already shown that they are liked. This is another move that isn't quite making it.
Not sure about that but unbelievably I just looked at my account, only to see that one of my hubs which has just received an Editors Choice.award. Fancy that!
Congrats sallybea, I didn't notice a difference and I don't think you will either. I hope you do.
I didn't because all my hubs are poems, but I don't see why it wouldn't be allowed. If you wrote a hub that fulfills the criteria, why shouldn't you nominate it? There are plenty of people engaging in reciprocal nomination schemes, so what difference does it make if a person scratches her own back?

I was really excited when some of my hubs were awarded Editor's Choice, but it seemed to make little difference to number of page views to those hubs. However, getting two HOTD has been great! One of my HOTD was also an...

I had a hub that was receiving around 1,300-1,500 views per day. It was chosen as Editor's Choice. It then dropped by about 1,000 views per day. I opted out of the program, but that hub is no longer showing in Google...

I know there's been a lot of discussion on the forums about the Editor's Choice hubs. First, I want to say that I really appreciate all the hard work and creativity that the HP staff put into our community, but I...

So I'm replying to a comment on my hub and upon scrolling through the hub (I always check for errors or how I can improve), I see the related hubs section. There are five hubs there including one of mine. What...
