Do you think HubPages should have an annual convention where hubbers could meet in person?
It could be interesting to meet some of the hubbers we interact with, and perhaps even create real friendships. There could be writing workshops, etc. What is your opinion?
It sounds like a great idea to me, especially if they could do workshops. It would give people like me a chance to meet some of the very good hubbers and learn better techniques for writing hubs.
Since I live in Australia, I don't think I'd be able to afford to attend!

I've met several writers that I would love to meet and spend some time with. One that comes to mind is "writing guru" billybuc. I'd pick his brain for great writing tips.

I had a reason to be in Sacramento , CA last weekend and emailed hubber ,Arlene V. Poma, to ask if we could get together. She made the effort to meet me there, and we had an opportunity to talk, in person, for maybe an hour or an hour and a half-- not sure, because the time flew.We talked...
