If it was possibly would everyone like to meet and have a party or dinner?
I have met so many wonderful; and special hubbers.. You have gone out of your way to help me and guide me if I need guiding.. My question is, if it was possible for all of us to meet and have like a party or dinner would everyone try and meet? Where would be a good place to meet if everyone or anyone would?
This sounds perfect but some hubbers are around the world.
Meeting probably somewhere in the middle of the U.S. because I'm on the west coast.
You're right to see how many responses you get.
There used to be something called HP meet-ups. I learned about them when I was brand new at HP. I can't remember anything about them except that they were local.
There's actually a whole forum just for this sort of thing, called Local Meetups, http://hubpages.com/forum/32
And there are 81 communities on Meetup.com for HubPages,
And some of us have met others. I live in the Pacific Northwest but met Hub authors in England and France this summer.
What about an annual Hubpage convention held in the United States, India and the United Kingdom. Have it in five different states, It may make money for someone and would meet one another.
I wish it was possible because I'd be there in a heartbeat....but where? So far to travel for just about everyone. I wish HP did something like this!
It would be pretty interesting, I'm always up for a dinner lol
this sounds really great! for others i dont know but myself, really thrilled to make it out ..and i'll go with '92flashmakeit' way...a brilliant idea that suits me better ...haha!
What a great idea Deb...I'd love to have a reason to come over to the US for a visit:)
Deborah..sounds like a great idea...we can decide on a date/time..put everything else on hold ( as we were actually physically together) and as we are eating, drinking etc..write the questions we would like answered and then , each other via the internet, possibly as we are doing on this site area..or as others have stated find a site where we can communicate on line in a chat room...
Scattered as we are internationally this may work well...I love the idea..but..take into consideration, some may not be as we perceive them..just a thought...
If you check out the site relache spoke of please inform me of how it works..Look forward to hearing from you...
Great idea..have a nice week-end
wow that is another great idea... I love it.. I will see what we can do about that. I will inquire.. what state are you from?
kj force: That sounds a great idea. There are lots of us who could not travel those distances from other countries. Perhaps it could be on Skype as people do for e-conferencing. But then I'm in Australia, and our time differences make it difficult.
What a great and fun idea, Debbie, but not so sure when, where and how, as stated here, with so many hubbers scattered throughout the US and all over the world, but I know you can come up with a great idea on how to pull this off. I, too, as other hubbers here have stated, read somewhere about Hubber Meet-Ups in their local areas, but then we would miss out on all of our other hubber friends who live far off. I will be thinking on this further. God bless. In His Love, Faith Reaper
It all depends on what is being served and who is washing the dishes.
I am in Australia traveling around with my husband & we are planning on traveling overseas next year . I would love to meet other hubbers in the UK and USA if anything is arranged !
What would be awesome would be like a HubPages Meet and Greet sorta thing. I'm sure a lot of us would cherish a moment to get see each other in person. We're all writers and we all love to share our knowledge and creative integrity via HubPages. It would be an awesome thing. The thing about writing is that you do it alone... having a community like this makes it a bit less lonesome.

Hi All:I'm hoping for some feedback on the idea of a writer's group. Is it a good idea? Too much of a pain? If it is a good idea, any ideas on how to go about it smoothly? There seems to be a fair number of us who would love some constructive feedback from our peers. With...

We all know how important encouragement is to new writers. Go find 3 Hubs that have zero comments and leave an encouraging note. All of your followers will see that you commented on their Hub and hopefully a few will leave a comment as well. Go find some new Hubbers and send them...

Hey, I just thought of a great idea, after participating in one forum earlier. http://hubpages.com/forum/topic/52153what if instead of allowing all hubbers to automatically publish hubs after they're written. maybe the hubpages staff should change that button to submit for...

If you have not, who would you very much want to meet?

I have been thinking about how I can give some of my hubs that receive less traffic more light. On our profiles, we can pick a bunch of hubs that feature in a "gallery" that fades in and out, right under our bios and above the published hubs listed in the bottom section. This year, my...
