This is maybe the opposite of what you want to hear but I thought I would share the experience.
I opted out of my hubs being Editor's choice because the hubs which were chosen, their traffic started declining. I gave them some time to see whether or not their traffic would pick back up but it didn't. As soon as I opted out the traffic spiked and has been climbing steadily since. I am now getting more traffic on those hubs than I was before.
Very wierd! you would expect the opposite. Do you know if others have had similar experiences with traffic falling due to being selected as Editors choice?
And how did you opt out?
I have seen traffic falling on those hubs though.
There a few hubbers who have opted out for the same reason. I don't know if others have had the opposite experience. I don't think EC hubs benefit the hubber, they benefit HP because the hubs are moved from your subdomain to HP's main domain.
Checking on my Hubs for Editors choice and Plaaaaaah hubs with NO! traffic. I think its true although they are supposed to be promoted with HP they are actualy affected badly.
Sorry about that, but that's the exact reason why some hubbers choose to opt out.

Previously there was Apprenticeship Program and that was closed. However, still rewards were being given to Apprenticeship Program people and also (may be) to few more hubbers for every hub they publish (Saw in a forum long back - I am sad - I could not open that program link also).I thought, soon...

I had a hub that was receiving around 1,300-1,500 views per day. It was chosen as Editor's Choice. It then dropped by about 1,000 views per day. I opted out of the program, but that hub is no longer showing in Google for the keywords that brought it all the traffic before EC messed it up. How can I...

I make it a habit to count my EC hubs just to make sure none have gone missing. (OCD) This morning I was surprised to see one of mine lost its designation overnight. There were no edits to it and it still has the same 70 comments and 42 original pictures of a method and a recipe. The only...

On Sunday, I noticed that many of my hubs made the Editor's Choice list. Though I was pleased, I noticed that my views had fallen somewhat. I figured it would take a few days for views to increase since my hubs are no longer on my subdomain but on the main HP domain. However, I checked on my...

I opened my Hp site today and was surprised to have 10 "Editor's choice" selected for my hubs. I wonder how many did you get. No hidden agenda; just curious.
