Does anyone else have a problem with the Amazon Capsule in their hubs?
After addressing the New Amazon Associates Program I decided to go through and put some Amazon Capsules in my hubs only to find that I couldn't get them load any information at all. |Has anyone else had this trouble? Is it because there is an ebay capsule there? Can you only have one or the other? Any help appreciated. Thank you, Leni
It could be that the product is not available via the US store API.
Sometimes the prices or product images are not available via this API.
In some cases there may be another product listing with a different code for an item, so you may want to search the US Amazon store to see if you can find an alternative product code to use.
If you are not seeing the capsules at all, then it could be add blocking software on your computer.
Instead of putting a particular item in the capsule (if that's what you are doing) put a few key words and hit 'preview Amazon results'. if the first words don't come up with anything try others. Having an ebay capsule makes no difference. I have both on all my hubs.
I did that but it doesnt work in any of my hubs. The ebay capsules work fine.
There must be something else wrong then Leni....you may have to contact Amazon. I have never experienced that problem, sorry.
It looks like my adblocker was causing the problem though why it didn't affect the ebay capsule I'm not sure - any way I have disabled it in hubpages than you for your ideas and support
