On a WordPress blog, if you insert a HubPages referral link (for readers to sign up for HP)...

if you test the link to see if it directs readers to HubPages, do you get an error message?

Open the page in a private window on Firefox, or as an Incognito one on Chrome.

Thanks for the tip, SolveMyMaze. I tried that and still saw an error. Could it be that WordPress isn't compatible with the widgets?

Sorry for the delayed reply. It may be the case that  there's some incompatibility. I would suggest simply to highlight an area of text and insert the hyperlink rather than using a special widget.

I tried again to use my referral tracker instead of a widget... the problem? I hadn't typed /user/new behind my referral tracker!
