I get plenty of traffic coming from my trackers outside hubpages but it has not brought in any new hubbers through my trackers. Has anybody had any luck in bringing new hubbers with their referral trackers?

(I have posted this topic in Q&A yesterday but Hubpages said this should go in Forum section)

I've had just the grand total of 5 sign ups.

I have over 350 sign-ups, but only a small number of them have written any Hubs, and an even smaller number have ever started Hubbing seriously.

Of course.  I've got over 212 people who have signed up via my trackers.  Then again, it's not who signs up, it's who makes Hubs.

Of my 212 sign-ups, there are eight people who have not only made Hubs, but cranked out anywhere from a dozen to a few hundred and who maintain a good author score.

I guess it all depends on the people who read your hubs. There are people who love to read and write, while others are just happy to read anything that is available and not write a single word!

yes, but only 5 have published hubs.

I have 11 sign-ups, 9 from my profile page, 2 from the default tracker.

total hubs - 121 from 5 of the sign-ups.  Highest author score is 81.
3 of them have a 7 score. lol

I use trackers on a number of hubs and it's a nice way to see traffic to hubs.

Yes 2 so far. But they have joined so they don't have to place an anonymous comment if they read my hubs. I am trying to encourage them to start writing.

I have over 1400 impressions and only 1 signup and that person only posted one hub.

I have 39 people signed up through my referral trackers, with 79,510 impressions. One sign-up has written alot of hubs and gets decent traffic.

I eventually got a number of people signed up in the past few weeks but two of them got banned from hubpages shortly after. Hmmm...

What did you do to promote them signing up?

I guess most of the sign-ups could have come from anyone who found my hubs on google. I have not done a lot of work on promoting or backlinking my hubs, but I do get decent traffic from the search engines smile

I'm tempted to say I'm struggling in this arena, but I've only been on HubPages about 4 months, and I've really only been active since January.  I have two sign-ups, and between them just a single hub.  I guess I'll have to try to find out what oher people are doing and see if I can mimic their success.
