Why has my hub published on 1st August not been graded or recognised?
My hub 'More Common Mistakes in English - off/of/from/about....' is still registering as being assessed though one published since is up and running as normal. I can't see any reason why. I've gone through all the usual procedure and have had comments coming in. Help please!
Relax Ann. Is it featured? I see it in the spotlight in your profile. Check your edit page for any warnings, or perhaps you have been selected for HubPro. It is a new editing program. They proofread your Hub and let you choose to correct them.
No, not featured as far as I can see. That's the point; there's still that little circle & arrow symbol that means it's awaiting assessment. I've looked at everything like warnings etc. Anyway, I'll go back and look again.
Thanks for your inpu
I do not know how the HubPro works. You may get the circle/arrows while they do that. As I said I saw it in the spotlight, I just checked again.
There's often a slow down over the weekend with updating hub scores etc on your account page.
Sometimes the little symbol saying "still being assessed" has remained in place on one of my hubs for up to 30 hours, but it didn't mean that the process was still ongoing.
The best way to see if a hub has passed through the process and is featured is to see if it has been indexed by Google and Bing. That seems to happen (for me at any rate) within half an hour of the hub being featured.
Look on the hub under "stats" then "search". it will tell you there if the hub is featured and when it was last crawled.
I was wondering why I did not see it on your profile page, but as you know, it can still be shown on your highlight area if you choose that option under your edit profile. Hmm, that means it is still pending, but that sure is a long pending? Maybe due to the weekend stuff and it may turn to the big black H on Monday. Those who follow you will automatically get an email and be able to comment on it, but no others until it is featured. You may need to contact the HubPages Team and inquire. If it does not show a white circle, then you should be okay. Hope the problem is fixed soon.
My hub is now up and running, so thanks to all of you who came up with suggestions - all correct surmises. I'm just amazed it took so long but maybe it was the weekend thing.
Cheers to you all! Ann

As topic reads. What does it mean for the hubber?I am very new to HP, but have been reading a bit on the forum and I don’t really understand what happends to hubs that are not being featured. As far as I understand, a non-featured hub will not be findable by a google search, but members of HP can...

I have encountered a very poorly written hub, the spelling and grammar was bad and the sentences were incomprehensible. The hub has less than 300 words in total including the title (268 words exactly) and has more than 15 none-English words. I had to check the hubber profile; the hubber has 12...

I am just curious, all 92 hubs of mine are featured. In your opinion, should one delete (although Featured) any hubs where the score on a particular hub has eventually dropped way down from when it was initially high at one point? Or would it be better to just unpublish and later...

I have only ever had one featured hub before but when I checked my account today I was shocked to find I have 13 in featured hubs due to low engagement. This is proof that traffic has fallen greatly. It's not just my lowest scoring hubs either..it is right across the board. Is anyone else...

I am venturing out into the forums on a rare occasion to personally ask a question I haven't seen anyone from HP answer to anyone's satisfaction to this point. I've just noticed a hubber which only joined around 14 hours ago who had a hub published only 30 minutes or so ago. See it for...

Is it a wise move to delete published Hubs that are not Featured?
