Should a Hub say "pending" somewhere once you've published it?
While I'm waiting for my Squidoo transfers, I thought I'd publish my first Hub. I did received the code on my text and entered it, but I can see no notification that my Hub is "pending" approval. I know it takes 24 hours, but shouldn't it say somewhere on my account that I have a Hub pending?
Go to your account. You'll see that hub title listed. At the right hand side you should see two gray arrows in a circle. That tells you the hub is waiting approval. If you scroll down to the bottom, you'll also find other symbols and what they mean.
Sheila, thank you. I did see the legend at the bottom and the symbols and meanings. When you refer to the two grey arrows on the right do you mean to the right of the hub title or at the bottom of the page? There is nothing next to my hub title.
The line should have the hub title followed by some columns for page views. The symbols for a pending or featured hub should appear after those numbers.
Thanks Shelia .... I appreciate your time. I like the fact that HubPages does not publish a new Hub immediately. A review/assessment is a good thing.

I find it kind of ridiculous that I have been waiting for a couple weeks now for one of my hubpages to be published. What was the longest time you have ever had it take to get a hubpage to publish?

The Googlebot visits new hubs within 30-60 minutes while they are in 'Pending' mode and the NOINDEX tag is in place for 24 Hours. This means that the bot does not index the page, and does not return for days or weeks....

If updating a hub that is featured, say your best hub, a Hub-of-the-Day hub, a contest winner, or such, puts it into a no-index state until it's reviewed again, why would one want to ever update it?I have such a hub...
