Linking to my hub from my facebook page.

   Why is it that I can post my hub to my facebook profile, but, when I try to link from it, it gets blocked before I can post the link? It seems to me that it should work both ways.
   
   I tried to post a link to my monster page in one of the groups that I belong to. Well, it linked to Hubpages while I was in the process of typing. And, I received a message saying that the
   profile does not exist! It sure the hell does!
   
   This has happened to me several times there. It lets me type in the hubpages link, and then attempts to link to hubpages before
   I can finish typing out my message. Or I get an error message.
   
   anyone have any suggestions why it isn't working?

   I use my RSS feed to link my HP and FB sites. Got to use the appropriate Link capsules and make sure you click on 'Reorder now' as it saves the setting. Hope that helps. Welcome to HubPages,

   If you use Firefox, there is a handy little add-on called Shareaholic that allows you to post to different sites very easily.
   Facebook is one of them.

   I am not asking about posting a link from my hubages. I am asking about posting a link from another source to hubpages.
   
   I belong to some forums that have millions of subscribers. and I would like to post a link to my pages from those forums to my hubpages, but everything I try doesn't work.
   
   I will try what you suggest and see what happens. Thanks.

   I don't quite follow what you are trying to do. Are you saying you have set up a facebook profile with a bunch of links to your hubs and are then posting the link to that elsewhere? Or are you linking directly from hubpages to facebook groups you belong to?
   
   They might have some sort of spam filter which is set to block hubpages. You may want to try using a url shortener, such as bit.ly, to see if th problem you are having is domain specific.

   here is exactly what I am trying to do.
   
   lets say I belong to the rollercoaster group at facebook. Sometimes when you type a link into a comment at that group, the link appears and you can link to that page as soon as you have completed your message.
   
   But, every time I try to add a link to one of my hubs, it gets as far as the  hubpages.com and begins to link to the hubpages site while I am still trying to type out the rest of the URL to my hub. I never even get to finish the message!
   
   Now I am trying to just leave a message asking people to google my username. But that doesn't seem to be working one bit. I tried it myself, and boom! My hubpages are at the top of the list! But, nobody appears to be trying it.
