What is meant by "configure" in Earnings Settings?
When I land into my earnings program settings, I see green buttons asking me to "Configure" for my ad programs.
I recently applied for participation in ad programs and they are already active since 4 days.
When I click on the button to configure, it simply indicates that my accounts are already active and if I want to cancel them or shift to different account name, then only I have to proceed further.
Then why the buttons are asking me to configure?
And what is configure?
I would like to have some clear idea about it.
Those buttons are always there. If everything is active, then they mean nothing unless you go to change something.
Thanks for your reply.
I want some more clarity. Is there no need then to select my choice of ads regarding google adsense programme on hubpages?
No! You have no control over ads placed or where they are placed. You can turn ads on and off for individual hubs. Information is in Learning Center.
Okay. Thanks again for the reply and your advice.

Are ad settings totally controlled by HubPages or do the settings in my Adsense account have a bearing on what will be displayed? If so, is it a good idea to select categories relevant to a niche site?
