Google not loading today?

    I've noticed yesterday and today that google ads are not loading, or take forever to load on my own websites. Some other sites I like to go to will not load and I see it's google ads that are slowing it down.

    Has anyone else noticed this the past few days? Maybe there are so many people off work on the holidays and online with family that it's straining the load on google.

    I'm seeing ads on your Hubs.  Are you sure you haven't enabled any ad blockers on your end of things?

    I mean my own sites, not hubs. I found some links to forums that have been having problems with this. It seems like Google now owns doubleclick, another ad site.

    Somehow when you have adsense scripts on your site to show google ads, google also tries to show some doubleclick crap. It also tries to put a big tracking cookie on the computer.

    So it's slowing sites down, sometimes very much so. I have FF and noscript, and I can see it's the doubleclick stuff that is causing the sites to hang up.

    Hopefully they will get it fixed soon. They always have to do something to screw things up!

    I am having trouble writing my hub because my pages are not loading quickly enough. I think it is because there are a lot of people online for the holiday.

    Hi friends,

    I am not having any problems with my google ads or publishing of my hubs. There are very less people working at hubpages plus who are searching online for things because of holidays.

    I think these issues are concerned to a particular location or computer. Best of luck. Happy New Year in advance.
