Ok, I'm pretty new here and I hope I don't say something that is not smart regarding this, but I really think that there should be an option to insert AdSense between any two capsules (is that what they're called?) and also to make it a bit bigger etc.
Please, I'd like to hear some official comment on this if possible.
We have technology designed to optimize the yield of advertisements on a hub. In the short run, it is possible in that you could achieve a higher yield by choosing placements yourself. However, in the long run, we expect that you'll do better with our technology (and ultimately with less effort on your part).
It is unlikely that we will ever give author's complete control of ad placements (beyond choosing the saturation level).
I understand the reasons and I hope auto scheme will work indeed (it's less work for me anyway that way). Thanks for your reply.
What about a google hub related search box somewhere?
It could add to the revenue!

A recent comment on one of my hubs, said I would be better to place the google advertisements running down the right hand side, not in the top right where they seem to be. Can some one tell me if this is possible and how to do it?

What is your view on the ad placements of the new layout of Hubpages?I've been reading some negative feedback on how the 2 ads are placed at the bottom of the hub. How did the ad placements affect your Ad Program and Adsense revenue?
