Hey Hubbers,
I'm in need of some criticism on my latest Hub. I appreciate all input.
I guess, I'm a little bit worried about it's length more than anything else.
http://hubpages.com/hub/Whats-It-Mean-T … an-Citizen
I want to Thank You in advance.
Yes, I did for about 8 hours. But, thank you for your concern.
I do like jokes. Do you sleep? Isn't a joke. It's a question. Even your insinuation that I don't sleep, isn't funny either. Sorry.
I do appreciate your comment on my Hub. Thank you for your input.
it wasn't a question dude, it was just a joke! you are totally inscrutable! i was on here last night as well, so what makes you think I'm trying to target you? your horse, is way to high.
on the comment...no prob.
If the Hub is too long? Where should it be broken? Or At least where in your opinion would you create the second Hub from?
Thank you again.
As you probably know I had a read earlier. It is a bit long But I did enjoy reading. I guess I kinda thought it was a good one to give me some insight as to you as a person really. I think people are more likely to skim it but I also think that it will provoke people into thinking about their own thoughts and feelings. I hope that is your intention as that was the end result with me
Yes, that was the intention. Hopefully, open more eyes of people. But, I am a little worried about it's length.
Do you think I should break it down into two Hubs?
Maybe even 3 eeep! You challenge the idea of one little voice not being worth much, that could be a hub on its own a don't be intimidated to make your voice heard type of thing maybe. Laws that limit freedoms and why they exist in the first place was something else that caught my attention and could probably also be a hub on its own really! I also got to thinking about how the country was built versus what it is now and the importance of the individual to protect what made the country the envy of the world in the first place instead of being duped into thinking we are powerless to politicians. Lets just say you cover quite a lot of topics in this one big topic
Thank you as always Kirsten. I've written some other Hubs, which touch on those things you've said could be separate. But, only touched on them. I appreciate your help.
Subheads would break some of the text blocks for you. It would be a shame to have to move it into another hub, but it probably looks a bit scary to the average online reader with so much text.
I reckon subheadings could make it look like an easier read. You've got a logical flow happening anyway, so would be eeeeasy
I never believe a Hub is too long if it keeps me interested. This one in particular did. Thanks Good Job btw
I agree with kirstenblog -- it could be broken down into two or more hubs. Or, alternatively, edited to be more concise.
However, conciseness might not be what you were after.
Are you invisible? I'm not sure what you mean?
I post comments and noone responds. I put it down to others ignorance to start with, then thought that maybe no one is seeing my posts. Oh well! lol
I see you and I even followed you on Twitter hope to see you there too.
Good hub as always. One point I would like to make, instead of not voting the same people should vote and write in their candidates name "None of the Above" as this could be picked up by the media and counted as a demographic of disgruntled voters. Not showing up at the polling places at all just shows further complacency by the American people and will embolden candidates into believing that we just do not care.
Very good point, but a disgruntled voter's duty is to complain to their Congressional officials and make things right. Yet, very few people are standing up and being responsible, by forcing Congressional officials accountable.
Thank you so much for your input Arthur. I'm very grateful.
Hiya Cagsy...if I can call you that, I think it sounds cute!
Anywho
This is a tough one!
I love reading so I was fine but those who don't love reading as much may find it a bit tedious.
So I would suggest more subheadings- that will break it up a bit, so people can take wee breaks or grab a drink without losing your point...if that makes sense
Hope it helps dude!
I made some changes on some capsules. I think that makes it better, somewhat.
I deff think it's better that way.......much easier on the eyes and no probs for commenting..a good hub is a good hub and this one was great!

Did you ever write a hub and feel like something just wasn't right with it? This is my latest hub, and I just feel something is wrong with it. I think the layout is OK, but the writing feels....off. Or it feels like I'm missing a major mistake - like a word misspelled in the title...

This has probably been addressed elsewhere but I haven't found the answer yet. Is it ok to post a link to your own hub in the comments section to someone else's hub on the same or similar subject? I just found such a post in a comment on one of my hubs and don't know whether its a good...
