Can I upload a video directly from my computer into a basic hub that I'm going to publish?
I want to put a video on one of my hubs directly from my computer. But in the video capsule, it only asks to give a Url from Youtube or Vimeo. How can I proceed?
I recommend that you set up an account of your own on YouTube. They give you a number of options for saving your different versions of videos there. Ten, you can add your video as a YouTube compatible one onto your Hub.
Set up a YouTube account for yourself and load your video there. While the video is loading you can give the video a description and assign "tags" to it (tags are words that help find your video during a search in YouTube). When your video is done loading at YouTube, a link will be provided. Copy that link into your video capsule in your hub as the URL.
You can make the hub a video hub, which allows you to upload one video which will automatically play at the top of the hub each time someone goes to it.
If you don't want to do that, then you will want to make a YouTube account.

In order to add your own video to a hub, do you have to join youtube first, upload your video, then put it in the hub capsule? I wish I could upload my videos like I upload my photos.

I often use more than one video in my hubs, and I do prefer to use the ones I make myself, if possible. If I want to use more than one video, can I only use one directly uploaded one per hub? If so, can I add the rest by adding regular video capsules?
