When will hubpages make me a millionaire?
|-)
Are there any millionaire writers here?
Hahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!
(snort, gasp, wheeze)
Where was I? Oh yeah.
Hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!
Hubpages wasn't intended to make the writers rich. It was intended to make the owners of Hubpages rich. It is, after all, a business.
maybe hubpages needs to hire me so i can make we writers all rich....i would split the loot 90:10, ten for hubpages and 90 for writers
Well Clive, I'm afraid the owners wouldn't go for that idea, but I guess you could try.
No. Nobody makes millions here. A very few people make thousands. Most people are lucky if they make payout occasionally.
You will never make that much on any content site on the internet. In the beginning this site was 60 for the writers and 40 for the staff. It somehow got switched around and I even think it is much less for the writers than that. HP has put on so many restrictions, changed the rules and bowed down to the Google God that they have lost much in the way of intergrity and honest on this site. So don't expect to make much money here.
Oh and I have yet to meet someone here that makes a decent income to pay bills or have much fun with.
that quite a depressing shell to crawl out of...god dammit...I want to be a millionaire
There are probably a few... but not because of HP exclusively.
what! you mean that all the time i am here writing i thought i would be a millionaire.....shucks....hey hubpages owes me a million bucks
No way with the current status, you are lucky to reach payout at the third month, me, i took five months
yeah, one month $10, so 5 months $50, that is a long, long wait. Haven't you got yours yet? I have been here for 5 years already
Well, you could make the goal of reaching monthly payments, then take those payments and spend them on lottery tickets and hope for the best... that's about the only way I can see tying HP into becoming a millionaire.
Otherwise, you can branch out as a writer into other fields that pay more (copywriting, technical writing etc) and build up your bank account over time and maybe reach a million by writing, or enough to invest in your own writing site that makes millions... lol
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHA HEEHEEHEEHEEHEE- NEVER.
why oh why always exploring please tell me why....sob sob sob :-(

So I've been on Medium for a year and Hubpages for six years (my second time). I've come to the conclusion that they can benefit each other.I have twice now earned quite a bit more on hubpages as a result of an article on Medium. A few days ago, I posted a link to one one of my hubpage articles,...

Hi,How feasible is it to earn 500$ + monthly from writing on hubpages? Is it possible from ad revenue alone? Or how should one go about mastering amazon links? (I've never had much luck with that aspect)Any tips/suggestions?I enjoy writing and my favorite niches are food, gardening, travel and...

First, apologies to Tori since it will SEEM like I'm picking on her HotD - I'm not. These featured hubs need to be touched by an editor if Hubpages is ever going to be taken seriously as a 'real' writing site.1. The Title is Wordy2. Restain should be re-stain3. FIRST sentence, misspelled word:...

Why doesn't anyone like me? I read everyone else's hubs, join every fan club and even serve breakfast. Despite my efforts, I am still working for a living and not able to live off of my HubPages empire. Life is so unfair!!!

At the end of this month, I will have been here at HP for four years. At first it was interesting, challenging and fun. I met so many fantastic people and talented writers and was inspired to learn and grow and write my heart. Then, almost imperceptibly things began to change. Now, I...

Maybe it's that we authors aren't active on the forums, but it seems like Hubpages isn't thriving behind the scenes these days. Do you think HP is a sinking ship?
