I think it all depends my first payment I only had 30 or so hubs but it took a while before they started showing profit,it really isn't number of hubs, it's how much traffic the hubs see.
I know it is frustrating waiting, but keep writing and write about what you love .Use any social networking to promote yyour hubs online.Although not necessary I don't do this, but  it's been told to help traffic.

Edwin, you won't earn $50 in a month. It might take you a couple of months to get there as long as you promote your hubs every day and comment on other hubs. Keep writing and updating your hubs.

Alan, you can share your hubs here or via social media outlets like Twitter, Pinterest, Google + and Facebook. If you have a blog/website/domain, from there too! Just do it a few times a day. Comment on other hubs, answer questions in Q&A and for

I'm at 49 hubs and have earned a little over a dollar per month. So just promote, write and update your hubs, Edwin.

I have 50 hubs and have been on for 5 or 6 months and I only made $2 so far.  This isn't what I expected.  But, I won't give up.  I love doing HubPages.

That depends very much upon your content. I've read reports on some people (who have undertaken keyword research) reaching £1000 over a year with 100 hubs, with others reporting drastically lower figures.

There is no magic number of hubs that automatically guarantees you a constant income on here, as there's a lot of variables involved.

For one, it largely depends on your content.  Some content will get you into more search engines than others.

Another factor is how much traffic you get per month.  If your content doesn't generate traffic consistently then your not getting any monthly payments.

Also do you backlink your content on various social networks?   Its not necessarily effective but it helps for some people.

The point is there's a lot of factors that go into it.  Throughout my years on here, ive seen some people with as little as 20 to 30 hubs earn an income of 5000 thousand or more a month.    While some peope that have written over  a 1000 hubs earn as low as maybe 100 dollars once every other year.  It depends really.   The best advice I can give you is just write what your passionate about and then hope positive word of mouth spreads about your work.

Agree with you. Need traffic hubs. If have 10 Hubs that can have traffic everyday. Then the profit can be a lots. If there is no traffic on your hub, no money will get, no matter how much you write your hubs.

The issue isn't how many hubs but how many views your hubs get overall, and the related ad revenue.
Figure a fraction of a penny per view, no matter how many hubs, more if people are clicking on Adsense ads en masse for your site.

Hello. I don't have Google adsense and amazon affiliate accounts / links, but there are numbers of views (traffics) already. Will that be turned into income? Because the earning report tab doesn't show any income report yet. It's the 3rd month already. Kindly help me with this. Thank you.

No, if you do not apply to Adsense and get approved you will never make any money here.
