What are spammy elements?
I really don't understand what are spammy elements in hubs.Nonetheless, some of my hubs were not featured on basis they had spammy elements.
Can someone give me an insight on this.
Spammy means your hubs appear to be more about "marketing" a product or service rather than being an informative article on a specific topic.
Oftentimes you see hubs written about how someone got their ex back by going to blah blah blah for advice and the article contains their email address, website, or book.
I've seen others that literally list escort services in various countries.
Sometimes writers approve of comments that contain obvious spam.
If you're attempting to (sell/market) anything it has spammy elements especially if you're providing links to buy a product or service.
Here is the related FAQ entry.

New Spammy Elements FAQ
Check Your Hubs for These Issues
Based on recent information about what Google considers "spammy" we've created a new FAQ entryto help Hubbers identify spammy elements in Hubs and rectify them. Here's the gist:
Links are considered spam that are misleading, keyword stuffed, unrelated to the Hub, identical to what's in the Hub, or link to window confirmation boxes that interfere with site navigation or redirect users to unwanted websites.
Products are considered spam that are unrelated to the Hub, excessive, meant to benefit the Hubber and not the reader, and unnecessary to the reader's experience (i.e. the Hub would work fine without them).
Text (yes, even plain text can be spam) is considered spammy when it is keyword stuffed, contains plaintext urls to a business, excessively promotes a business or product.

I am yet to successfully publish any articles with amazon products. I am trying to be clear on the requirements for these articles. Lately I have noticed how most of my articles that have been there for a long time, are being marked as not featured. And even after trying to "fix" them they are placed in the same stage over and over again. Considering the kind of "pay" we get for our effort, it seems kind of...

To everyone who is using the Disavowal Link Tool on Google and/or has had a loss of traffic, be sure to remove any articles you have on EzineArticles and any other article sites you may have used to post links to your HP subdomain or Hubs. These links are considered spam links by Google and...
