   Well, my curacao/gin martini mix is chilling. My martini glass is in the freezer. I have a few snacks on hand. Bring it on. I'll probably be on Farmville at midnight setting off fireworks

      LOL!  Me, too.  On farmville that is.  My fiance has to work but I'll be home with my two teenagers, sipping bourbon and watch cheesy New Year's Eve entertainment on the boob tube with the laptop in my lap.
      
      I've never tried a curacao/gin martini.  Sounds interesting.

   We were going to First Night in Boston, but the snow has begun and we're staying home. Probably munchies and drinks with family that lives nearby.

      The martini will probably leave your teeth glistening without a streaky film!
      
      I'm headed to some friends' house this evening and making good ol' cajun shrimp etouffee. Can't wait. Was up at the crack of dawn on the piano bangin' away writing my one new piece a day! So far, so good. Hope to post the videos on youtube in a month or so, then write about them here at HP. That's my 2nd new year's resolution.

    Movies and snacks with the kids. -30 (Celsius) outside, but cozy inside by the twinkling Christmas tree. Not sure we'll make it to the big "Ball Drop". Happy New Year to all!
