...so whatcha gonna do?...and in some parts of the world it's already happenin'...Happy New Year!
...me, i'm gonna prepare a nice dinner (seafood probably) and go for a skate (ice)...and hope i don't fall this time...and then maybe i'll head over to a friend's place for a party...
...new year's day, i'm off for a cool mbike ride...i'll bundle up and plug in my electric jacket...it's going to be a nice day Jan. 1....but cold...worth it though....
I am going to stay home, eat some appetizers, drink some prosecco and watch comedy shows on the CBC I was invited to a party but I passed.
I have reported you for telling porkies!!
You said your stomach had exploded!
And you were going to dye it!
Why not just use fake tan?
It will go with your porkies!!
It is 01012011 in NZ have a good one everyone... 15 mins of great fireworks and I didn't even have to light the wick!
Happy New Year hubbers. May 2011 be amazing for us all.
A belated Happy New Year to you PD and any other hubbing kiwis - the first country to see the New Year.
I still have several hours to go before its the bewitching hour when I'll be out amongst the crazy scooter drivers of Nam!
Going to stay home, eat some good food and do a little work. I should go out to the Disney area and take pics of the fireworks, but traffic will be maddening!
I've only ever been to a couple of NYE parties in my life, but I'm suddenly wishing I had one to go to this time. *sigh* You'll probably find me online here at HP instead. Maybe I could finish a couple of the 30+ hubs I have in the works.
Between the flu and Christmas, I've taken waaaay too much time off from work the past two weeks. I'll be sitting here banging away at my keyboard. Sigh...
...well for those of you that will be 'banging away' on your keyboard...have a nice glass of sparkling stuff or whatever with ya!
...that prosecco sounds good!
Happy Happy New Year all!...
A quiet night, good food, a glass or two of wine and we will watch the Matrix trilogy.
I'm driving over to the Lakes Region of the state to pick up my 15 year old son and two of my granddaughters, then we are going to...
Go see "Tangled"
Spend some money at Gamestop
Ice-skate on my pond
Build a bonfire in the yard
Have a barbecue
Make some smores,
And, finally, order a movie on Pay Per View!
I love to spend New Years Eve quietly, and usually alone. I reflect on the year gone and make plans for the coming year; meditate, relax...
New Years Day-enjoy a nice meal with my family, usually some seafood or surf and turf.
Tonight I thought we were grilling and playing dominoes BUT my kids went snowboarding for the first time in the mountains and are both in bed! So we had chick-fillet !! I'm hanging out in the forums and getting better from the flu/sinus infection!
Happy New Year to all!
...okay, so i didn't go to my 'bud's' party...but did everything else...and have to get up early....
...happy new year all!...quiet times, loud times, fun times...whatever you're into...have a good one!
...you know, it was great meeting many of you folks this year...thanks!...hope to meet more in 2011...

Well, my curacao/gin martini mix is chilling. My martini glass is in the freezer. I have a few snacks on hand. Bring it on. I'll probably be on Farmville at midnight setting off fireworks

No, I'm not against people celebrating the New Year, but I hate all the noise. My little dog goes bananas when she hears all the bangs. I have to give her tranquilizers. My neighbors shoot their fire crackers all night long!
