It's an irritating new automated doohickey that scans your hubs for typographical errors and other boo-boos. In my case, at least, it seems to mainly pick up misspellings in the comments left by readers, not in my Hubs themselves, which seems kinda pointless.
It means they have corrected any spelling or grammar errors. The error may not be in the hub itself. They even edit the comments made by others. There is an option so you can opt out of their corrections if you want to. I think this is an attempt to make sure all content here has been proof read and edited even if the writer choose not to it before publishing their work. The only fault I have about it is, I think the comments by others other than the hub owner should be left alone.
Auto grammar and spelling checker that hubpages provided for free, something like Msword
Okay thanks I thought I had to do something with it thanks for the help

I recently had an article take a dramatic plunge in views and am trying to figure out why. I had approved a couple very long comments that included misspellings and punctuation errors (now that the Q & A is gone I'm getting some lengthy comments)! Can these comments lead to a plunge? I've since...

For several articles, many keyword tools offer suggestions of spellings that should be capitalized, but are often searched for lowercase. Thus, it's tempting to include a few spellings of yugioh instead of Yu-Gi-Oh or star wars instead of Star Wars.So far, I've resisted the urge, but if a few minor...

Why oh why oh why does the editbot keep changing my spelling? I'm sick to death of it! Now I just pull whole paragraphs out of hubs to stop the little monster committing cultural genocide.

Is it rude to point out grammar/spelling mistakes on hubs via comments?I've come across numerous hubs that have grammar and spelling errors, some minor and some littered with mistakes. Otherwise, these hubs would be interesting and will written in my opinion. Is it rude to point out these mistakes...

I don't know if anyone has raised this issue here. Anyhow, I am suggesting a new feature related to COMMENT column. Now, we cannot edit our comments after five minutes since we wrote it. We can edit our comments within a time gap of five minutes only and thereafter it can't...
