I just added a couple links in one of my hubs. I posted one link to my facebook profile, and altough the ink works. It says incompatable/facebook. What does that mean?
I also posted a link to my youtube profile. Are these links going to be a problem for me? I only post them in one hub so far. If I am doing something wrong please let me know, and I will remove them immediately.
I can't answer the first question - wondering if it could be because you can't open the link unless you're a Facebook member?
Rather than including a link to your Youtube profile, why not add one or more Youtube capsules leading to your Youtube videos? That would have more appeal to the readers, IMO.
I will look into that. I already have youtube videos at a few of my hubs, so I amawondering if a capsule is the same thing?
Thanks for the info.
However, I was more concerned with wether or not I was breaking any rules by having links on my hubs. Too much to learn!
I think the general response is that you can have up to two external links before your Hub is viewed as overly promotional. Even then, it means that your hub is 'Flagged' not banned. Generally you will be fine with two links to external sources (Such as myspace).
You can also add video capsules on top of your two external links!

Hey all,I posted this query in an older thread of mine with no joy. In retrospect, I probably should have posted the question independently:

I randomly come on and off the forums and on this return visit I've seen SO many people questioning why their hubs aren't making money and/or getting traffic. So for as long I'm having fun, feel free to post below (either for your whole account or one...

I apologise to Marisa, as I have no intention of 'stealing her thunder' for her excellent hub gathering statistics on the Plunges and Surges - http://marisawright.hubpages.com/hub/Hu … es-survey. I have looked at another aspect which was not included in the survey. I looked at about 10...

First off, my hubs are transferred from Squidoo, and I am aware of various issues there. I'd already checked and edited hubs after the transition, so this is all post transfer. What I don't understand is why some of my hubs get unfeatured after I've edited them? One even got...

Last night I went in an edited a capsule so that it would be full width, which is what HP wants everyone to do. The article I edited has been published and featured since 2012. When I went in and edited, however, the editor that read it decided that it was no longer going to be featured. I was told...

I am yet to successfully publish any articles with amazon products. I am trying to be clear on the requirements for these articles. I thought articles should be limited to 1-2 products, however I have seen list based articles with multiple products (ideas for gifts) on niche site, Holidappy. Would...
