Yesterday I had the highest traffic ever on hubpages, earned <SNIPPED>. Anyone else have a good day? Exciting....
Monday's traffic was very good but not spectacular; coupled with a very good but not spectacular CPM the earnings was spectacular.
Congrats on a good day.
I hope you are on an uptick with many more to come!
I switched to Adsense last April and was doing really well, but in February the amounts started dropping. I switched back to HP three days ago and was surprised at how high my CPMs were...earnings were good, too...better than Adsense this month...but of course I might have hit it when things were temporarily going well. I'm waiting to see what happens between now and the end of February.
Congratulations! as a proud earner of <SNIPPED>, could share your success?
Oops guess I wasn't allowed to say the amount...lol Its an article that sat for many years. It seems the I get more traffic the older the articles get.
I"m wondering if the rule about not sharing your earnings is true. Hubpages shares what people have earned monthly. I think someone at one time posted this and it has just been shared ever since. Can anyone show where the rule is stated?
The fact that the amount was snipped makes me think the rumor is true.
It's against the TOS to discuss earnings. You can be banned for doing so.
My traffic has been about the same but all of my Hubs are new compared to most. I have two Hubs that get more traffic than the rest and the others get some views sometimes.
In the HubPages "Terms of Use" in the Payment section near the bottom it says: "You acknowledge and agree that You will not publicly disclose Your payments or Earned Balance (including any subcomponents thereof) from the HubPages Earnings Program without prior written consent of HubPages.
When you Click the Help button, go to the very bottom of the page and click "Terms of Use"
In general, I have been very happy with my earnings during February. Not super high traffic, but high HP earnings plus better than average Amazon sales.
It's not a rumor that you are not supposed to talk about your specific earnings. It's in the terms of service, I think.
I see Rochelle already said as much. Listen to Rochelle.
It's very unwise regardless. Don't tell people how much you are making. It's just not good gambling.
I'm just very excited and can't believe how high it is. $$$.$$ in a week. This is the highest I've ever had and I've been on hubpages for quite a few years...
Congratulations to you. I can't wait until my hub is receiving traffic as well.
Have A Wonderful Day!
My traffic on my best moneymaker is tanking this month...worst month in a long time!!!

Okay - It seems there was an update to the definition of our earnings. I cannot say when it occurred.Basically we are paid for pageviews. One payment per view of article, regardless of how many ads are delivered to the reader, unless they back out before the first ad is actually viewed. Then we...

I'm extremely happy to find that my work is REALLY paying off now, because in the month of November, I will have earned more than $50 in earnings! I've not yet received my first payment (for everything through last month), but my hubs have been flying through the roof in traffic. Over 11k visits in...

Currently I'm signed up with Google Adsense and I've been debating whether I should sign up for the Hubpages Earning Program because I'm hesitant to give out my tax information. Or should I worry about this only after I have a decent amount of traffic coming to my hubs?

Am a newbie, barely clocked a week, so don't kill me for asking about earnings, but how much traffic is required on the articles for someone to have any earnings on HubPages Earnings Program?. I have two featured articles and haven't yet linked my earnings program to my Google AdSense account.

As you may have read in my previous forum post on the topic, eBay is going to be available to many of you shortly. We have always cared deeply about helping Hubbers to earn, and are looking forward to seeing how this enhanced earning privilege will allow Hubbers to earn more. We greatly...
