Hi, my hub https://hubpages.com/education/Gypsies- … many-facts has got the message Ads dismissed etc, but its not even been published 12 hours yet. In fact the Ad comment came up before it was published.
Obviously a glitch? Thanks for your help.

I"d contact the administration. There seems to be a mistake. Usually ads are removed because of a taboo subject. Your hub is interesting, just like all of your writing is.

I wonder if it is because of the word 'gypsy'? In the UK it's now considered to be a racial slur.

I think it's more likely to be something in the sentence about "flogging, torture, mutilation, branding, shooting and hanging." The only way to know for sure is to check with team HP.

Hi, no most of us use the word gypsy? Every single Gypsy I know would find that really insulting to think the word gypsy has been tainted by the pc brigade! They are gypsies and proud!!

I'm not saying it's right or wrong, I'm just trying to help you answer the question. It's irrelevant who is or isn't insulted; it's whether Google deems it racist or not.
