I've just hit 100 on my hub score. What does this do for me?

I'm fairly new in HP, having joined the community only last January, and I'm quite pleased to see that my hubscore has hit 100 today. I'm curious how this affects my articles' over-all performances, if at all. I've read some posts in these forums that have positive and negative comments about hubscores so I don't know if getting a score of 100 is something to celebrate about.

It gives you an excuse to open a beer.  Or pour bourbon, your choice.

      Beyond that, not much.

Wilderness is right. Congrats, but be ready for some fluctuations (it's already back to 99). Still, anywhere in the 90s is a great place to be, so well done.

It's fun to see, and I suppose it means you're doing something right. I like to take a screen shot of it to admire later.

WOW great, congrats. I've never hit the 100 score yet, it's always hoovering somewhere in between 94 and 98

I've hit 100 many times over the course of the years I've been here, and I STILL don't know what it means, lol.  Something having to do with activity and engagement.

I think it's worth celebrating. Besides doing something right, you've learned the "something right" so soon. I don't recall hitting 100 until maybe my 3rd or 4th year. It's a good feeling. Bask. Until, of course, it goes away. big_smile

Enjoy your 100 hubscore while it is there. It changes several times during the day. The next time you look, it might be down to 99.  In fact, I just checked and it is already down to 98.

It looks as though it changed before you finished your beer or bourbon!

You're so right. It went down to 98 before I finished the beer!
I guess it's nothing to be joyous about except to know that somehow I must be doing something right to reach that level in just a few months.

    Thanks for all your remarks.

I judge my work by these stats as well. An up is an up. Don't knock it. Figure out what caused it and keep it up.

It gives you a good reason to post on the forums.

Welcome to a very exclusive internet club, the Sacred Order of the Hubpages 100s. Sorry, but until you've attended the sacred ceremony, you just don't get to learn the secret handshake or get the lifetime free pass from police in every nation.
