Hello. I've noticed that my Donald Trump article hit a spike. It has jumped from 1,930 to over 2,100 views. What does this mean?

I noticed your view duration has five stars on that article. That means you have kept your readers engaged to read through the entire content. Google reacts positively to that by increasing your ranking, which causes your article to appear higher in the SERPs. Therefore, over time your traffic increases.

Not only that, but I've noticed a rise in daily google traffic. It jumped from the 10s to the low 20s. I picked a very good title. It's called 10 Reasons Why Donald Trump Should Be Removed From Presidency, and in the summary, I told readers reasons why Donald Trump should be removed from presidency, along with some honorable and dishonorable mentions. I have amassed 17 parts of dishonorable mentions. I coined a new term for the White House, called the "Trumphouse" and have named Trump's news TNN, or the Trump News Network. I have more than enough viewers for a strong audience. I will continue to update the article as often as possible. Until then, I've got to bolt. Feel free to comment below. Also, did you notice the massive increase in soapboxie traffic results? I never expected that.

Thanks for the insight on how to read that graph. It’s something I will have to pay attention to.

Ditto  - I knew about the stars but hadn't made the connection between that and Googles rankings.

Update: Google is the main source of traffic on this hub right now, and will likely stay that way.
