I'm looking to get my article moved to skyaboveus and would love some feedback on what changes I should make. I'm already looking to get the photo's updated and I'm thinking some of the titles could use some work, but I have not figured out how to change them just yet. Any insights would be greatly appreciated! Here is the link to my article.

Looks pretty good to me, only a few nitpicks here:
1) Don't leave a text capsule without a title (think of one for your first paragraph). Your last capsule title almost sounds like it belongs at the front, but I see what you're going for.
2) Another image or so in the middle might help give a better visual flair. Heck, it could just be a pretty picture of the wilderness if nothing else.
3) Add an author bio.
Good luck, and don't forget to manually submit your article--it might make it in even if it didn't when initially published.
Do you always have titles for your first text capsule? I'd say almost 100% of mine are not titled. Curious to see what you use for first capsule titles. I generally use the first capsule as a summary of sorts to expand on the small one shown on search engines and such so I have never thought to title them.
I was thinking the same thing about the last section but was unsure how to end the article if I moved the capsule to the top. I suppose I could just move the title, but then that text wouldn't have a title.
I'll work on a bio. I find that those are the hardest things for me to create with only a few words.
I never add subtitle to the first capsule. Although I rarely have a photo above it.
So I'd say, if you have a photo first, then a subtitle would be okay. If no photo, then no subtitle as it would come right under the main title. It comes down to personal preference really.
That makes sense. I'm trying a few different layouts as I edit this particular article. I usually do not have photo's first, but the majority of editors that have been looking at my articles have been moving a photo to the top recently so I'm experimenting to see how I like the flow/layout. If I leave the photo I'll be sure to add a title to the first text capsule.
If for nothing else, I use subtitles because (feel free to correct me if I'm mistaken here) they help attract traffic. My other two tips are better items to focus on, probably should have put them first. Oops.

A very kind soul noticed a month ago that I need to learn how to break up my text with photos or something between the paragraphs when my text is long. She explained how to do it. I tried and couldn't grasp it. Then I misplaced or accidentally deleted her email -- so I haven't...

In the old days, the first text section we wrote would generally be a title-less introduction, certainly in my case, anyway. That was the way that I understood was the way to do it.However, in recent times, I've seen that an editor can often add a title to the first text section, even if it's...

I've heard they slow traffic down although I have a few hubs with call outs that are doing well, so I'm not sure what to do. I hear some say they're fine and others that they are traffic killers. Would appreciate some advice from the staff, thank you.

I am almost ready to publish a new article, and I want to add two Amazon Capsules. I know how to do it the old way. But I saw on lobobrandon and a few other's hubs a different way. There is just an orange "A" and what looks like a hyperlink, and when clicked, it takes the reader right to...
