My best performing article's title is officially irritating me. I'm thinking about changing it though I'm not sure if I should wait until traffic falls or if I should do it now. What do you think?
The current title is "How Dryer Lint Made Me Money". The article is a personal account of how I found money while cleaning my dryer. I'm thinking of changing the title to "How I made money cleaning my dryer" or "How I found money in my dryer".

Well, it's a great story and helpful to a lot of people, including me. It's not really about making money though. 'Finding' would be better.
Also, it's 'The End is Nigh'. Not neigh; that's what horses do
Lol. Thanks. I edited that. Though, perhaps the end does involve horses... With my luck, it will. The great thing about this article is that it reminds me all of the time that the money I found wasn't money I'd lost. We had gotten the dryer used so it's someone else's money.
The title you have now, caught my attention. I'd leave it.
Apparently Google loves your title as it is, or it wouldn't send you many visitors. So why would you want to change something that isn't broken. You might not like it, but Google does.
True. I didn't think of it like that. I do think Google is the weird Aunt of our community. Strict and yet loving in the oddest ways...
I think the title is good, but perhaps you could increase your traffic even more with descriptive subtitles. I'm not an expert, but if subtitles are something people search for they can bring in more views.
Maybe the first one "The Victims of My Experiment" could be something more like
"Essential Maintenance on my 'Like-New' Dryer."
"The Problem" could be something like
"Incorrect Dryer Installation Can be Dangerous"
I think the caption "Fire starting lint pulled from the dryer duct" is very good. Use every opportunity to indicate why what you're saying is important.
I think you have good information here that people are looking for, and you should make it easier for them to find it.
Anyway, you get the idea. I would check each section and ask myself what the important information there is, then give it an interesting and descriptive subtitle.

If you have a hub that is one of your better performers, but has a title that isn't so great, do you go ahead and change the title or do you leave it alone?

How do you deal with a change that was made to an article by an HP editor? They unnecessarily changed the title of the article, I'd like to change it back to what it was. Is that what everyone else does when this kind of thing happens? Curious.

I just published a new article called "Interesting Guns in Gaming". Unfortunately, the web address for this article used the original name of the article "Top Three Guns in Gaming". Do I have to do something before publishing?

Do the titles of your article tell the reader what is in it, but do not encourage a reader to click to read more? In the past I have read that titles should be simple but it now appears that titles should tell the reader what is in the article but also have some catchy words. Google will point the...
