Just recently came back on Hubpages and wondered now that I am out of a job and looking to post on a daily basis (hopefully 3-4 posts per day) if there are other sites similar to this one where there is a potential to get paid by posting? Don't want to throw all my eggs in one basket so if you guys and gals can guide a newbie as to where to become a writer and get paid for it, i would truly appreciate it (i'm in the entertainment niche).

Honestly speaking, I m trying to move my articles from other sites to HP now. Try submitting one hub per day, for 30 days and see how is the traffic. Don't rush.

You're best off concentrating all your energy here, where they pay you reliably, and have a fantastic support team. You're also better off concentrating on quality over quantity.

InfoBarrel used to be the second best place to write. It still exists, but I will be very very surprised if it continues to exist for much longer. They've failed or refused to evolve. Hubpages has made every effort at every turn to stay in this game.

So basically, what I'm working on currently is taking things that were somewhat successful at Infobarrel, totally re-writing them to make them original, longer, better, and putting them here because this place keeps winning.

3 to 4 pieces a day, I can tell you with 99% certainty you will not earn anything from those hubs. Unless you work on them again later to make them all stellar hubs and more importantly the best article on the internet for the topic you are writing about.

Getting the numbers in hubs without the numbers in your stats is useless.

Good advice lobobrandon. I keep rewriting my articles now instead of writing more hubs but hopefully when I get all my hubs to all the other niche sites, I will start writing more quality hubs.

Try to do both. Even if you are only able to publish one new article a week as you are editing your other hubs, you potentially will find something successful.

As DrMark says it would probably be wise to have a mix of both, new and edited hubs. Write a new hub for every 5 you rewrite or edit (to move to a niche site) or something along those lines.
