    Hi Hubbers,

I'd like some help with passing the Quality Assessment Process. Will you please give feedback on my article Thoughts on Turning 65. What can I do to improve? Thanks!

      Hi there,

There are a couple of problems with your article. Firstly, the content doesn't reflect the title. Where is the part that advises how to accept aging (I really need that bit). Secondly, delete the Wiki link and also the two 'dead' links at the bottom.

I'd also suggest you make this longer into a more general, comprehensive article on the acceptance and resistance of getting old.

Thank you for your feedback. Seems I have a bit more thought to give to this. I appreciate your help.

While I found much of what you said to be interesting, the article seemed a little "scattered" to me.  If you want to write about what things used to cost, then do it.  If you want to write about aging do it.  If you want to write about historical events through the years, do it.

Each deserves a hub of its own.

To qualify for QAP your work should be more focused and specific and include lots of detail.  At the beginning, I expected you to say you felt like you were looking at your father...not that you were looking at the signs of old age.

Your hub has a lot of promise, but you need to rework it, and I agree...you should get rid of the links at the end!  Also, make sure to caption and source your photos.

I think you should get rid of the links at the bottom- they don't add anything and you are advertising other websites.

I would try and make it a bit less personal, and like RaggedEdge says more of a general article about aging. If it was me I would try and make it more explicitly relevant to others. I wrote an article about being in my thirties, but I made it into a list of things that change when you reach your thirties, that I know others of my generation have experienced.
You talk about the experiences and moments in history that your generation experienced and how being born earlier or later your life might have been different. I think if you worked on this more, it will be a really interesting article.

    Hope this helps.

Wow!  Thanks for your input. Your remarks make a lot of sense.
