Even though I have been an off and on member, here at HubPages, I never realized that by putting my profile picture in a capsule, in every hub, that's maybe what is causing my hubs to be marked as Duplicates.

I don't always have a hub-ready image on me, especially not if I need to take a photo from the very other end of the globe...

My suggestion is to import Free Cultural Licensed photos from Creative Commons' library.

No, your work won't be penalised for duplicate content by using a profile picture. You wouldn't put it in a capsule within the hub, would you? You would put it on your profile as you have done.

Your hubs will be marked as duplicate content if A. You have published it elsewhere. B. Someone else has published it elsewhere. C. You have used material that is published elsewhere.

There are lots of websites where you can get free-to-use and legal photos. Look at Pixabay, Pexels, Unsplash.

If you are publishing your hubs at another web site, they will be considered duplicate content.
You can use that same photo over and over and it will not be considered duplicate content. It is not appropriate, since you could use a generic photo of a mom for "Momma" (instead of your own photo) but HP will not penalize you for doing something like that.

If that's the case, the only thing I can figure is when I uploaded my content to OneDrive instead of saving it straight to my device. I have let the team know that I will not be using OneDrive for storing my future hub content.

Otherwise, my content has NOT, been published elsewhere, and I have deleted the OneDrive files so that my hubs may be published.

Storing files in One Drive would not cause duplication. Have you tried pasting some of your text into Google and seeing what comes up? Just copy a few sentences from the article you got the warning on. If someone has stolen it, you should see it in the results.

If that's the case, come back here and we'll explain how to get it fixed.

Edit: Just to be clear... no-one can see data stored on a personal cloud account. You need to have your worked backed up somewhere.

Thank you, ma'am. The only hub that is still currently unpublished, "I Need Some Tomorrow", was uploaded to OneDrive right after I copied the text. Immediately after I uploaded the DOCX file, I came straight to HubPages, then pasted the lyrics in a hub, then I hit publish. I never shared it anywhere else, just did a Google search for a few lines of the lyrics in my hub, and found nothing stolen or copied. And my hub/lyrics for, I Need Some Tomorrow, are not duplicates of any other content that I could find on the web.

But, I do thank you for your patience and doing your best to help. If you could please help any further, I would be much obliged.

Okay, what I suggest is that you add some extra text to the hub. I don't know what... think of something to do with your creative process or something.

It's very possible that one or two lines of your song are similar to another one and the duplicate filter is picking it up.

I do understand the problem, my daughter is also a songwriter.

I promise you it's nothing to do with One Drive.

If you continue to get the warning, contact team@hubpages.com and ask them to look at it for you.

I know now it has nothing to do with OneDrive. And thank you so much for your help, ma'am.

I will keep your advice in mind. :-)
