Anyone know how to stop the notifications from an article that I commented on years ago? I no longer see the unfollow button that allowed one to opt out of further notifications.
I don't get email notifications, just notifications when I log into HubPages. It used to be easy to unfollow comments on an article, but they seemed to have removed that button as far as I can see.
Oh yes... I just looked at one of mine. No, I can't see a way of unsubbing. Maybe you could turn on email notifications temporarily and do it that way?
Go to your account page.
Click on Following.
Click on Articles You Follow.
You should find it there under the list of all of the articles you have commented on over the years. All you have to do is hit unfollow.
That's what I was thinking off and looked at your reply which is perfectly correct. I always log in to my "Following" threads by clicking the button "Articles you Follow" and the other one "Forums You Follow" to manage it clean and up-to-date.

I no longer get emails from a Hub's comments, but I get the notifications when I log into HubPages. Is there a way to stop following a Hub's comments through the site or do I have to reactivate email notifications and use an Unfollow link from the email? Thanks!

I know we can "stop following hubs" by clicking that option on the email notification etc. but what about hubs that we don't get email notifications for. In my notifications on site "Top 20 Female Singers of All Time" is continually showing up. I did read this hub once and...

How can I disable notifications from an article I commented on?I bet there's a simple way to do it that I haven't yet found ha. I commented on an article months ago, and keep receiving notifications of other people's comments. While it's a good article, I don't need a notification every time...

It seems that some people stop reading comments left at a hub after the hub author has responded to whatever comment they've left. This is only a guess because I've read some people's comments (other than the author's responses) and they've brought up something in addition to what was said in the...

Hubtivity is great, but, sometimes it gets clogged with too much activity on a hub or thread that you commented on once but have since lost interest in. What would be great would be a 'stop following' option beside each item.

In my years on this site I have seen so many people randomly follow me in hopes that I follow them back. And then as soon as I do, if the topics they write on interest me, they delete me from the hubbers they're following?Do you guys really think this makes people want to read and comment on...
