My "Follow the River" hub says that my title is in all lower case letters and would I like them to fix it for me. It is not in lower case letters and I am pretty sure I have never forgotten to capitalize any of my titles but what do I do? There is only two choices. Look to see what it would look like and do it! Should I just ignore this or notify someone they are mistaken. This hub has been here for years so I am a little flabbergasted at this. Advise please.
Thank you!
This sounds like a bug. Please forward the email to team@hubpages.com and briefly explain what happened. Thank you for reporting!
I get that all the time recently. Once it was something related to a word that was intended to be in all caps and, though it said everything was in lowercase, it changed it to lowercase and changed nothing else. I hit fix it on another one and it didn't seem to change anything. Since then, I've just checked the title to make sure it was properly capitalized and then ignored it.
Same happened to me recently. It might be because of your lowercase "the"; mine pinged for a lowercase "is".
As Christy says, it's a bug. I get it all the time and just click on it for the correction which always turns out to be what I originally wrote!
I got the same message last week on one of my hubs. I just hit "fix it" although I can see there's not much difference on the title that I wrote. It might be a bug then.
Thanks everyone. I will try pushing the fix so I do not have to bother anyone maybe but if that doesn't do it I will send a copy as Christy suggested.
Appreciate the responses!
Just checked in with the engineers and they are aware of the issue and working on it. Thanks everyone for reporting!
Christy, This is definitely a bug. I started getting that error message myself on several hubs a few weeks aqo. I didn't report it because I have several requests outstanding already anyway. The algorithm can't handle acronyms (that require all caps) and special characters (such as parenthesis).
I had this on my first Hub. As I thought it was a required thing, I clicked "fix." Didn't really make a difference.

The share buttons seem to be missing from hubs. Anyone else having this problem?

I'd love to know what hubbers think on this topic. I started writing my titles mostly lowercase after writing on a site that directed writers that way. However, does it matter -- and how do you decide?

Did you notice too many violations in hubpages recently? It started today morning with a spam comment in one of my hubs. I flagged it immediately. When I delved deep, I found that this new hubber had posted similar spam comments and spam hubs in the last few days. I flagged all of them. Now, while...

I just finished editing a Hub and signed out. Then I called up the Hub only to get this terrible message that puts a very bad light on Hubbers as possible violators of "The Code."What a poor image this gives the public. Being new to HB, my reaction is one of a public person who knows...

Has anyone else experienced a drastic drop in hub views recently?I've read similar posts in the past but no one seemed to have a good answer. My traffic has dropped drastically .. like about two thirds less views in the last few weeks .. I've kept my hubs updated and met all the requirements...

When someone copies your work on Google's Blogger platform it is easy enough to file a DMCA and have it taken down. However, if you read through the process, the infringing blog owner also has the right to file a counter-notice, and claim they did nothing wrong. For example, many of them don't...
