How do you make a word in your article be linked to other sites? When you click that word, it automatically goes to another website or article? Is there a certain HTML code or something?
Also, will it help my hubs rank higher in google search engine? Or what will be the good effects of including this kind of links in my hubs? Thanks, everyone!
You go into the edit mode on your text capsule, then you highlight the word or phrase you wish to become a link, and then you click the little chain icon, and copy/paste in the link you want.
Jesus, you've got some impressive looking titles for your articles. Very interesting.
Now, you should know it is generally frowned upon to link to other websites these days. It isn't against the rules, just frowned on some. I would think what you should be linking to is amazon.com products, so you could possibly make some sales. I'm assuming you've joined the amazon program.
Thanks, Wesman Todd Shaw. I've never noticed that link button until now.
Thanks, man. Yours too. I love music as well.
Yeah, I joined the Amazon program. But haven't used the Amazon capsule. Should I add calculators from Amazon to my hubs about calculator techniques?
No don't use amazon capsules. You can drop in amazon products as links, and that works better for everyone. The thing is, ad blockers on browsers can block out amazon capsules, but they can not block out hyperlinks.
Oh, God. I don't know that, Ma'am Bev. That is why I was a little bit confused earlier. What is a link juice?
Links from HubPages count as quality backlinks and thus more search engine traffic.
As you've replied, you've included the link again. The mods have deleted the original but not your reply, so it stays. The best thing to do is report your own post so that they remove it.
I've done it before and it happens all the time, so don't worry about it

I know it's been asked before. I've even asked it before. But is there a better and easier way to bring in links to a link capsule from another hub. It'd make linking series so much easier. I spent about 2 hours yesterday linking an old series that I have together. It included about 20 or so hubs...

Is there any value in linking to your own hubs within OTHER hubs and your profile page, in terms of search engine page ranking? Any advantage at all? I've seen a lot of people do this.If this is a silly question, please forgive me; I'm still relatively new here. Thanks.

I've seen some hubs with affiliate links on them... such as from Commission Junction. Is there a HubPages policy on using these types of links?

Over the last few days I have had a few hubs show up with "broken links"> when I go to those links however they work just fine. Today, my Twitter profile link showed up as broken and it works fine. I tried removing it and adding it back in and it comes up broken again.Any ideas? Thanks

Well, I hope I am posting this in the right spot. I've been on Hubpages now a little over 3 months, and am enjoying it thoroughly, all the writers here have been great. I have done a lot of research on increasing traffic to my hubs, and mostly people seem to collectively agree that to really boost...

When a particular hub is unfeatured, can the moderators be more specific about what is the problem areas which have to be improved. Just writing ‘ Spammy elements ‘ doesn’t help. I keep on updating my hubs regularly, even if they have decent traffic/ views. But these days, any editing (from my...
