I don’t get many notifications, maybe one or two a week. It’s nice knowing when someone has commented on one of my articles. Recently though I’m getting notifications every time someone I follow answers a question on their own articles. How do I turn it off?
Glad it's not just me. I haven't found any answers yet either. Hopefully it's just a glitch that HubPages will fix soon.

Why do people keep saying "I wrote a hub on it" when answering questions on the forums?Tedious, boring, bad manners, self publicity? As if one possible extra visit is going to make any difference in terms of income, fame, success, etc.

Why Do Hubbers Like Answering Questions Here In The Form Of Short Answers?And with about the same effort they can answer the same questions in the form of short hubs and earn some extra money by displaying Adsense ads on their short hub answers. What are the reasons?
