Is anyone here familiar with Medium? I keep ending up on websites that are owned by Medium. Does anyone know where there is a list of their sites with a description if it exists? Thanks.
Yes, I write there. The income opportunities are very small and limited to a share of subscription revenue. It doesn't have advertising revenue.
You may be referring to what they actually call "publications" that are hosted on Medium but mostly managed by writers who create them. Some of them have their own URL, but Medium has ended that feature.
So for example The Writing Cooperative would be one of those?
I daily visit medium.com. I am a subscriber to their daily digest. I find many interesting, inspirational stories there. I share some of them to G+ and also to my Facebook page life4better.
Medium is a large platform just like our HubPages. It is a hosting platform with many publishers having their own unique blogs created free of charge just like here at HP.
Yes, it is. I found that one myself in the past. It's an example of a publication that got a custom domain before the company stopped offering them.
Note the first paragraph on the link below.

Regarding your previous question about publications, you can find the list by joining Medium and doing a search on them.
I haven't noticed they have already removed the custom domain. Maybe there was an huge impact on the SEO.
They have a partner program.
https://medium.com/creators
Though I haven't signed up for that since I use medium to import some of my blog posts and it might be marked as duplicate content if I sign up for creator. But I might as well try creating a different account for revenue.
Here are two sources of information about Medium:

I write there too, and for creative writers, there are some decent opportunities to get eyes on your work. It's similar to HP but not.

If you guys are already over there, help me find you. Also, any tips to get started would be welcome. While I've published a story, it has failed to gain any traction thus far.It seems that there are in-house publications I need to aim for. I don't...

Hey fellow writers, I finally did it. I can now say I write on two platforms: HubPages and Medium! I published my first article today. I've been getting the daily articles for about 2 years but never made the time to become a writing member. I'm glad to be in the company of those who encouraged me...

There’s so much talk about Medium and how great it is. After all these years I’m still a huge hubpages fan. It’s more laid back and passive income from a website that’s been around for so long is more valuable than anything. I even reached out to hubpages and they let me know that if I passed away...

The Medium platform sounds great. Writers' income does not come from advertising (yay!) but from a chunk of the membership fees. But here is the catch: As a non paid up member you are only allowed to read three articles per month for free. After that, if you are interested in a topic and want...

I'm aiming to try Medium. I've seen others say things like, "It took me three months to figure out what I was doing there," so I'm trying to reduce that learning period with research. I've already learned a lot just from reading the Medium Guides, but I have a couple of questions, which...
