I am so glad you like it. What book of hers is your favorite?

The Left Hand of Darkness, for sure. Although, anything she writes is worth reading. She's a literary idol of mine. smile

Absolutely! I was "forced" to read it in college - and am so grateful to have been introduced to her.

I started reading more when I became a parent and read out loud to my daughter. I read the Harry Potter series to her and became an avid reader after that.

That's great!! I try to read to my kids as much as possible, too! I'm so glad they enjoy it. Going to the library to find new books is still considered a cool thing in my family, even though they still love all the modern tech stuff as well. I'm so glad - hopefully they continue to enjoy reading as they get older!!  (We love the Harry Potter series, too).

That's awesome. I am sure you are setting a good example. I remember when my daughter started reading chapter books. What fun!!! Abby Hayes is a great series, by the way.
