Hi hubbers,
I would like help getting my article https://hubpages.com/politics/The-Falla … ican-Dream Featured.
I will really appreciate the help. Thanks
Just a quick observation regarding your article 'about the author'. You're a 'voracious reader', not a vivacious one
Well you might be vivacious, I can't tell, but voracious is the word you need.
Well! Jeff I think the article doesn't contain grammatical errors except at some places you can insert a full stop instead of a comma in long sentences. This can reduce the complexity of many if your sentences.
The other is as I have written an article based on the history too and still it can not get a green signal from the moderators to be featured. So I would like to suggest you if you do have a clear knowledge of the American Dream with facts and figures then don't miss out a single detail in your article. Because history based and such conceptual based stuff needs to be thoroughly read and then written too with all the detail as per the hubpages policy.
So in this regard I think you are facing difficulty in getting it published may be. Kindly add any of the missed out part too in it if there is.
I tended to skim the middle of the article and struggle to see what the point of it is. I don't know what "The Mulvaney's" is. At the end you seem to support the American dream which the title suggests is a fallacy-- it is after all what you say, is that you can come from humble beginnings and become rich.
The article meanders, the many pictures of expensive things don;t add a lot after the first few. There are also quite a few grammar error such as "In attaining the American Dream, it does not matter the background from which individuals come from that matter in their pursuit for a better life but rather a determination and hard work. " where 'from which' and 'come from' are redundant, it should be either 'the background from which individuals come' or ' the background individuals come from'.
Over all I suggest that you determine your main points and hit them with less digressions and more relevant pictures. A few sources would also help.
@psycheskinner Thanks for the feedback.I will definitely improve the article.
I think psycheskinner is exactly right.
You don't get to the point- I expected your article to be an argument that the American dream is a fallacy, but at the end you say it is attainable to everyone. I didn't understand your argument.
I suggest you decide what you are arguing and then have clear headings covering all your main points. Assume the reader is not going to read every single word, but to skim the headings to decide if the words under the headings are worth reading.

I see this message when my Hub is rejected: "Heads up! It looks like your Hub is not cleared for publication because it did not pass the Quality Assessment Process. No need to fret; every new Hubber goes through Boot Camp, and all you need to do is improve the Hub so that it meets our quality...
