Hiya, I'm a Avon rep and I'm trying to launch my Avon online shop, I'm hoping blogging and web pages will give me a boost, there are lots of words and actions I dont fully understand and I'm trying to get to grips with it but I think with a little help and support, self teaching and practice will help. I have the understanding that its not a quick thing to do, and takes takes a while to build up an article, any tips and advice would be greatly appreciated, thank you smile

You can start out by writing articles that are related to your merchandise.Avon are into health and beauty products.
So,you can write articles on the  health or beauty niche.

Nope. Not permitted. This is a site for writers, not for Avon reps or the promotion of any other business.

You're in the wrong place.  You need to start your own blog or website.  This site is for writing and any type of self promotion is prohibited.  If you try to do this, you'll be banned from the site.

Rule Number One. You can't use HubPages to promote your business or products. Doing so will get you banned.

Rule Number Two. Spend some time at the Learning Center here https://hubpageshelp.com/

Have you thought about just making an Avon Facebook page?

There should be millions of Avon Facebook pages out there.
Much work to do on Facebook.
I would prefer a website of one's own.

Good morning miss barbsbubbles. There are a few sites; you can offer the Avon products. Here is the list of the web sites.
Offer up is free to sale and buy.
    5 miles up sales locally.
    Wayfair is popular.
    Post mark is secure.
I wish you good luck with Avon.  I buy Avon with a lady that come to my work with the books. She leaves the books in the waiting room for a few days. Than I text her back of what I want. The hair salon are good places to sale Avon.

Some very useful tips, just seen the other replies, I do Facebook pages, groups, I think I'm on a lot of social media, I am considering writing more and this page would be the ideal spot, just need practice, thank you very much. I do need to look at getting my own website although pennies are limited that’s why I look at free or cheap although I understand you do have to invest. What do you all think of Adwords? Thanks again smile

No, don't waste your money on Adwords. Unless you know what you're doing, you'll just be throwing money down the drain. Also, the cosmetics niche is extremely competitive, so you'll have to pay a lot to get the top slot.

Keep building your followers on Facebook.

You could always write articles on here about how to apply makeup or delay aging etc without directly promoting Avon products. This will help build your reputation. You should be able to link to these from FB and encourage people to share. There's no shortcuts for this sadly.

You can still post articles on hubpages while doing the same on your blogs and website.
Posting of relevant and well written articles and contents promotes your business here,in a way.
Just don't go overboard with the promotion.
    Moderation is the key.

Avon provides you with your own subsite where people can order.  I suggest using social media etc to just send people there.
