I got a real live honest to gosh payment from Google AdSense this past weekend -- my first one ever, and I've been here since 2011. Wonder of wonders.
The HP Ad Program has been my main earnin' jam for the past few years so I honestly had stopped paying attention to my AdSense totals altogether -- because, as I've been so fond of saying, "glaciers move faster." So this was a pleasant surprise from a gracious nowhere.
Better late than never, eh? Hopefully it'll take less than seven and a half years to make the next one, haha!
Great news. Splash out on a new CD, vinyl, shirt, day out.....on second thoughts..... day in with a beer!!!
Global warming. It causes glaciers to melt faster.
Congrats! I also received my first within the past month.
A tip for anyone making an AdSense account: make sure your full name (especially your middle) appears exactly as it is on your social security card. Makes verification much easier when you finally hit payout. AdSense doesn't have a great support team (there's really only forums to consult, not an email to contact), so navigating any issues can be tricky.
I'm off from work tomorrow and the next day so this is entirely within the realm of possibility.
Amazing! Congrats! My own glacier is still far, far away from reaching payout - at one to two cents a day with maybe a day or two a month maybe as high as $.50 if I manage my first check in only 7 years it will be a miracle. Don't spend it all in one place!
Great news, the glacier has moved. Payouts from Google take longer because their minimum is 100.
That's wonderful! Congratulations!
I'm still putting ideas together for articles and working up my nerve...at this rate, I'll be retired before I ever get anything going.

Whew! When I started, I didn't think it was possible. But here I am with 100 Hubs complete. Some aren't all that great but I have learned a lot. Number 100 is my longest by far. I hope it becomes my most viewed since it seems like it should be incredibly helpful.

I just have to ask you to celebrate with me. After 7 months, I finally got a hubber score of 100. I never thought I'd see that.Of course, I don't know why, but I must be doing something right.

So for all of those interested, I have been with Google Adsense for a month, I have a total of 36 Hubs right now, and I have never gotten a single email from Adsense. I have reapplied 6 times now, have been very frustrated, but have finally gotten it!I thought this would be a great time to write an...

I can't believe how long it took me to get that last .12 cents I needed, but this morning it finally happened and I am now a little over $100.00.I have been here almost 9 months and was hoping to reach the pay out threshold in 10 months, so I guess I am a month ahead of schedule.I look forward to...
