One of my hubs was moved to Patientslounge some time ago. Checked my list of sites on Adsense and found that there is an ‘issue’. There is a box of html code that I am required to paste into my page. What’s this about ?!
Also on the Adsense list is a ste that I don’t recognise - hub.me - which shows a similar message to that mentioned above. Have sent feedback to Google about this and await response.
Glenis, I remember reading about this issue on the forums. Several other people are having issues setting that up, too:
https://hubpages.com/community/forum/34 … e-new-rule
I can't quite find the forum post with the solution now, but I vaguely recall someone posting that, the solution was not to be applied by individual authors, but something HP has to fix. I'll try to share with you the link if I can find the discussion.
I was having that problem but it seems to be fixed. I added Patients Lounge to my sites on Google Adsense, and it is on the list now.
Hub.me is a short URL to your hub. Every article you publish with HP gets a short URL. You can find your short ULR by clicking on My Account > Article Title, and from the Author Center you click on "Stats":
I've never seen HP's short link in AdSense, but if you contact help, they should be able to give some sort of explanation.
I don't remember there being any solution. I had that problem then and I have it now.
I found it. Well, maybe not a general solution, but weezyschannel was having the same issue with Google asking for code for Patients Lounge, and the discussion was all over one of Natalie's threads:
https://hubpages.com/community/forum/34 … -craziness
If you check out the conversation, weezyschannel declared the mystery solved... after emailing back and forth with HP and Google, the niche site was finally approved. So one of HP's team had to contact Google or something to sort things out.
I just stumbled upon the thread a couple of days back and noticed.
I thought it was such a relief for everyone having that issue (that HP already sorted it out), but apparently, only one issue solved, while many are still having that problem
Well, I guess I'll email HP support again and link to the thread. Because the only reply I got from them was "there's no problem"
But actually psycheskinner if HP says that there is no problem then probably it is a known issue and is currently being worked on? So many hubbers are having the same issue and are in need of a solution.
I sent the following email. If anyone can suggest a more effective way to express this, I am all ears:
----------
I have previously emailed about this but I am not confident that the reply that my Adsense is working correctly on Patient's Lounge is correct.
This is re: the Adsense message that I am unauthorized for this site specifically: “Earnings at risk: One or more of your ads.txt files doesn't contain your AdSense publisher ID. Fix this now to avoid severe impact to your revenue.”
And this thread: https://hubpages.com/community/forum/34 … -craziness
I revisited the patients lounge error message on my Adsense account, where HTML code was still appearing in a box, along with a message to place it on my patients' lounge page. As an experiment, I simply ticked the box confirming that I had inserted it (though I hadn't). Lo and behold, I received an email from Adsense informing me that my page is now ready to receive Adsense ads.

I had earning a long time ago but, somehow, they disappeared. I am a computer dummie so I gave up trying to figure out how to get it back. The first two times were very difficult and twice is quite enough -- so I have no account and I no longer make a dime (I did get two payments over the years,...

I am trying to sign up for adsense. When asked for the URL of my site, I put in hubpages.com/@donetawrate. It refuses to assept it. A pop up screen says URL cannot be added as a site. What am I doing wrong?

Hi all, we are aware that there's an issue with AdSense earnings right now and our engineers are looking into the details. It's not clear if the issue is on HP's end or if this is a problem with Google, but we should know more by Monday. Thank you to everyone who has reported the problem, and we...

I have posted this question to different topic forums and I am not getting any answers. I have emailed the Hub team several times. I have spoke with Matt, via email and his response was that 98% of my earnings come from HP but he will look into the issue that I'm having with Google. (That was last...

Well, its hard to put into words really. I have been very unwell for several weeks and during that time I had an email from Adsense saying I wouldn't be showing ads any more and I have no idea why. I see that several weeks ago my earnings have dropped from almost 2 dollars a day to just a few cents...
