Earlier today, I tried linking my goggle Adsense account to my Hubpages account but it got disapproved.

Can I still earn here without my personal Adsense?

You are giving advice on one of your articles about Google Adsense, so surely you will have an Adsense account already?

By the way, Squidoo no longer exists.

Hi, yes I have an Adsense account, but I was unable to link it to Hubpages. Tried doing so and got a message my Hubpages website needs to be worked on first.

About the squidoo, saw it online a few hours ago.I'll edit that tomorrow. Thanks for point it out, though.

Do you have an Adsense account?  If you do, it can be linked.
If you don't, you can apply to get one.
If you have been previously banned from having an Adsense account your only option is Amazon affiliate links and it probably isn't worth it

Yes, I have an Adsense account but I couldn't link it to Hubpages. I'm hoping I can as I'll give it another try.

If you have an Adsense account you just enter your Adsense account number.  It sounds like you hit a button to apply for a new account.

How and who disapproved it, Google or HP? Just want to be sure.

Hi, google disapproved it, but it has since been linked. Turned out it was disapproved because I had very little content.

If indeed Google, maybe the 10-article rule is now being invoked for all "new" sites even when the AdSense account is old.

That has never happened before--old traditional adsense accounts are global you can use them even on a blank blog or website.  I have done so just in the last week.   I think it is more likely OP accidentally hit "apply" for an account rather than just typing in her Adsense ID number.

Yeah, and it's occurred to me was the attempt made via the AdSense page or via the HP page where you just type in the number like you said. The mystery deepens and the plot thickens, bets are being placed. big_smile

Yes, turned out this was the case. I applied when I had just two articles posted and had to make them 10 before I got the link approval.
