Spring is in the air here in northeast Florida. I accidently left my cone flower seed packet in my apron pocket when I washed. The packet went through the washer and dryer! Now I have them in the kitchen cabinet to see if they'll germinate.

Daylight Savings occurs this month (Sunday, the 10th) and Saint Patrick's Day is the following Sunday (the 17th).

Local elections are coming up on Tuesday, the 19th.

It's going to be a busy month. I hope your March month is filled with joy and productivity. Blessings!

Too bad about the coneflower seeds. I'll bet they are clean, toasted and ready to eat. I doubt if they will germinate. I love coneflowers, so good luck.
The good thing about March is that daylight savings time begins. I love it because I'm a slug and can't get moving until noon, then I love the long evenings when I can get my errands done without turning into a pumpkin at 5 pm. Now that my brother's DNA test shows that we are Welsh, not genetically the Scottish Clan we came from, I guess I can wish you a Happy St. David's Day, too.

Thank you for the comment, MizBejabbers. The seeds were from a charity, not necessarily a reputable source. The only reason I thought I'd give the seeds a try is because the dryer was set to "medium," not "high." The wash, too, was "warm," I think. In either case, neither was on "high." I'm not seeing any activity yet, but I'm somewhat hopeful because the seeds are sitting in fresh spinach-kale pulp, the end product of some juicing.

DNA tests are interesting. As time goes on, I think people will realize we are all related to each other (ha!).

My habits of late, by the way, are similar to yours. I don't really get going until around 10 or 11, and then my day is over at 3 in the afternoon. I know this will change when I get to Michigan this summer.

        Have a wonderful day!

Hmm. For me, it's a roulette wheel month. Hopefully, the odds are in the red-black realm as opposed to the single-number realm.

Happy March, It kind of snuck up on me, with February being a short month and all.

Same here, Sherry. We'll also be losing that hour this month when daylight time begins. Remember the old saying, "March comes in like a lion and goes out like a lamb?" In Michigan, I remember wild winds during my childhood--too fast for any kite flying. By the end of the month, though, the old saying seem to hold true.

Snow this morning in New Jersey, canceling school for the kids. So much for Punxsutawney Phil's prediction of an early Spring.

As Homer Simpson would say, "Lousy Smarch weather."

Yes, sorry to say. Friends in Montana and Michigan are even reporting snow trucks getting stuck!

More snow today! Looks like we're going to get our entire winter's worth in one weekend!
