Hi, I've had a red "1" new comment notification for weeks now, but when I go to the comment tab there is no active comment that needs to be approved or under any of the other filters, like admin approved, etc.
I was hoping it would disappear with time, but It just does not go away... I think it started in January or even December.
If I get new comments then it changes to a higher number, but as I approve comments it goes back to showing "1".
Suggestions?

Hello, I`ve been wondering for quite some time regarding the comments section after a hub. I can`t find it anywhere, has it been disabled? I used to enjoy receiving comments from fellow hubbers, and I also enjoyed commenting and receiving a response on my fellow hubbers` hubs. Another concern is...

I noticed the past few days that any notifications of comments don't appear in the notifications list until I approve the comment. (I am seeing the comments as they show up next to the Hubs link on the homepage, so that is not an issue.) Newer notifications showed up before the comment did....

I know comments have been gone for a long time on HubPages and the various topical sites, such as HobbyLark and Owlcation, but I missed the discussion on why they were removed. Doesn't that adversely impact engagement? It's hard to know how my hubs are impacting readers or if they're making any...

I just saw something I find very disturbing. A HubPages employee published a comment that I was making a decision about on my hub.Our moderation of comments on our hubs can be overridden by an administrator. A comment I'd set aside trying to decide if I should publish it on the hub or not was...
