The main problem I think is that this is really, really basic information that most people know.  HP is looking for magazine articles that provides unique information not basic information you can find countless other places especially when it's relatively common knowledge.  If you are going to write on something that there are other articles about you need to put a unique spin on it.  Do some research to determine what's out there and what is only covered sparsely.  What are people asking the most about the topic which isn't answered?  Do you have permission to use the images?

I think also since you are providing information on foods that can lower cholesterol and medication but aren't a doctor that could also be an issue.  Try to find a topic you know a lot about that others don't.  You'd probably have a better outcome with something like that.

      Good luck!

Hi, Janet. I have some suggestions for improvements.

You need to proofread your article carefully and correct punctuation errors. There should be a space after a comma and a period.

You should try to reduce the use of the word "cholesterol" in the first part of the article. The repeated use of the word in rapid succession might be interpreted as keyword stuffing.

You need to include sources for your images. You should show where you got them from and that they have the correct license.

You should also include references for the facts that you mention, even though you are a biologist, since you've written a health article. For example, you mention research performed by other scientists. You should give references for this research.

In addition, I think you should state your qualifications in the "About" section of your profile. The section is blank at the moment.
